Audio and Mechanics

This post if about my rough layout for my audio and mechanics.

Audio:

Footsteps: Slight echo because they are in cave and they will be a bit muffled because of the muddy surface.

Wind noises: These noises would be utilized more at the beginning of the environment when the player is near the entrance of the cave.

Soundtrack: My thought for the soundtrack is something soft and quite to just compliment the story and just enhance it a little, Most games use music to enhance the players experience during certain areas of the play through but I want to create more of a storytelling environment where the player can follow the story at their own pace without being rushed forward by the pace of the soundtrack.

Various narrative sounds: these various sounds will be sounds of fighting, celebration and other various aspects like a crying baby etc...These sounds will be triggered in the environment when the player reaches a s=certain point of the cave where the story relating to the sounds is, so hopefully the player will be following the story and when a battle scene is happening there will be sounds of fighting to accompany it. These various sounds will be defined later in the week when I finalize my narrative. 

Mechanics: 

Various Sounds: I have already mentioned the aspect of the various sounds being triggered depending on where the character is in the cave. 

Wind Trigger: My other trigger will be for the wind noises to stop after the character is a certain distance into the cave.
