New Moodboards

Animals From The Stone Age

Here is a moodboard of animals that lived around 20'000 years ago. Some of them include cave hyenas, cave lions and cave bears, as well as mammoths and relatives of the modern day rhinoceros. The reason I have created this moodboard is because I will most certainly have at least one animal in my cave paintings to show the main character hunting.

Here is my moodboard for caves in Europe. This is to give me a better idea of how to layout my own cave and the structure it will need to look believable. I am also going to look up blueprints of some caves around Europe to help me plan out my own cave design. 

Cave Paintings from France

This moodboard is full of cave paintings from caves around France. This will be my inspiration for my own cave painting story in terms of the style of drawing, I assume that I will draw the story out on a separate Photoshop file and then place it on my textures of the cave later in the project. 

Depictions of Stone Age Life

This moodboard is just life in the stone age in general. My story will involve the main character drawing his life on the walls of the cave (the player doesn't know that though), so the cave would not be necessarily in living conditions. but sparse instead. I want the cave to look like someone has left items around it that leads to the end.

This moodboard is full of tools and weapons developed and used during the stone age. There will be tools and weapons laid out throughout my cave relating to the story. 

Summary

For next week I am aiming to have my final "blueprint" of my cave with the important parts of my story laid out on the blueprints, I also aim to have  my rough story idea sorted out.
